Wincanton Neighbourhood Team are seeing an increase in vehicle thefts across East Somerset, with some offenders using a method known as “relay theft.” Relay theft allows criminals to unlock and steal cars by intercepting the signal from keyless entry fobs often without owners realising until it’s too late.

There are steps of which we recommend protecting your vehicles.
