Prevention and detection of theft of agricultural machinery

There has been a recent increase of theft of machinery from commercial and agricultural premises. Several items have been recovered and returned to their owners due to a combination of community intelligence and partnership working with our rural crime team. Please report and suspicious behaviour, small ‘snippets’ of information help us to build an intelligence picture and target our resources where they are most needed.

We have recovered trailers & stolen plant machinery in different operations and from reports we receive from members of the public. With the calls we receive this helps us significantly to recover property back to our victims.
