Misuse of e-scooters

Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team have noticed an increase in anti-social driving of e-scooters. We will be taking measures to reduce this behaviour from re-occurring around the town. If you notice someone driving an e-scooter in an anti-social manner please report via 101, online report or 999 if it is an emergency.

Wincanton NPT have given relevant words of advice to members of public that have been riding e-scooters on public roads/highways. If we continue to see the same members of public riding their e-scooters on public highways then we will be looking to seize them.

Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team have are still keeping an eye out for any anti-social driving of e-scooters. We are taking measures to reduce this behaviour from re-occurring around the town.
