Engaging with public to report drug use/activity

If you suspect that persons are using, dealing or growing drugs, we encourage this to be reported to us. This can be reported either in person, by visiting your local police station, ringing 101 or reporting online via the Avon and Somerset Police Website.

  The Yate Beat managers are engaging with local residents in the Abbotswood area regarding drug use and supply in order to address the issue. We encourage the public to continue to report such activity through our website. In the last two months 3 drug education program courses have been arranged for people who were found by the beat team in possession of drugs in low quantities.

  A male has recently been arrested, remanded and convicted for drugs supply in the Yate area. We continue to encourage further reports of drug dealing and use in the Yate area.
