Aggressive Begging in Yeovil Town Centre

We are aware of ongoing concerns regarding an individual engaging in aggressive begging in Yeovil town centre. PCSO Mandy is actively working to address this issue and is exploring appropriate and positive interventions.

To support our efforts, we are asking for help from the public. If you have witnessed or been affected by this behaviour, please report it to us. Your information is vital in helping us gather the necessary evidence and take effective action.

    We have been active in some arrests, which have had a positive impact. We will continue to pursue ASB interventions to look to a more long term solution.

  • 20 November 2025

    We are still working closely with our ASB team on this matter. We want to continue to encourage the reports. Increased patrols and positive action are taking place.
