Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) can have a devastating impact on individuals as well as our local community, and everyone has the right to feel safe where they live, and we all have apart to play in this.

We always encourage our communities to report persistent Anti Social Behaviour in your areas, either by calling us on 101, using our website to report things online, or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Our local neighbourhood teams work alongside our constabulary’s specialist anti-social behaviour team, as well as other local authority services and charities, to work with those involved in low level offending. This ranges from warning letters to education and support. We also work with those involved in more persistent offending with higher end interventions, such as Community Protection Notices and Community Behavioural Orders that can include arrestable conditions.

High visibility patrols are conducted by our local teams at every opportunity to provide reassurance to both the wider community and also to detect and deter anti-social behaviour in your area.

  We are continuing to carry out regular patrols in areas affected by anti-social behaviour and reports of urban exploring.

  We are committed to taking positive action where offences are identified and will continue to engage with those involved to prevent further incidents. These activities can pose significant risks, including criminal damage, and serious dangers to personal safety when entering disused or restricted sites.

  Alongside our patrols, we are working closely with local businesses, landowners, and partner agencies to address concerns, improve security measures, and identify problem locations. This collaborative approach helps us tackle issues at their source and keep our communities safe.

  We would like to thank members of the public and local businesses for their continued support and for reporting concerns to us. Information from the community is invaluable in helping us identify hotspots and take appropriate action.
