Anti-Social Behaviour and dangerous driving – Wyndham Park

We have received numerous reports of dirt bikes travelling around Wyndham Park in an anti-social manner and without wearing protective equipment.

Please can we remind you that dirt bikes are NOT road legal and should NOT be driven on public roads or in public places. Any one found to be acting in an anti-social manor or breaking the law could be prosecuted and bikes could be seized.

It is also a legal requirement to wear a protective helmet which must comply with the Regulations and must be fastened securely, this applies to both riders and passengers. Strong boots, gloves, eye protectors and suitable clothing is also advised and may help to protect you if you are involved in a collision.

If you witness anyone driving in an anti-social manner or not wearing a helmet then please report via 101 however, if there is an immediate danger to person(s) then please ring 999.

    Recently we have been conducting high visibility patrols around the area to in order to try and deter this behaviour.

    Your help is essential for identifying those responsible, and any intelligence that can be provided such as number plate details, or descriptions of riders is greatly appreciated.  As such we would like to remind members of public that if you witness anyone driving in an anti-social manner or not wearing a helmet then please report via 101 however, if there is an immediate danger to person(s) then please ring 999.
