Anti-Social Behaviour and Potential Drug Dealing – Southville/Westville

We have been made aware of ASB and potential drug dealing taking place within a public footpath between Southville and Westville, which has had an affect on residents in the area. Due to this, we have been increasing our patrols in the area on a regular basis, along with liaising with the council/local housing associations to tackle the issues.

We would like members of public to report any suspicious activity or criminal offences via 101 or 999 if deemed an emergency. You can also report via our website.

Recently, work on the footpath has been completed, securing it at both ends with coded gates.  Following the completion of this work we have been monitoring the area, and as a result of this work, are pleased to say that there has been a significant reduction in demand.

While this is a positive outcome, we would still like members of public to report any suspicious activity or criminal offences via 101 or 999 if deemed an emergency. You can also report via our website.

In the meantime, we would like members of public to report any suspicious activity or criminal offences via 101 or 999 if deemed an emergency. You can also report via our website.

Reports of anti-social behaviour have reduced and high visibility patrols are continuing when possible. Work is ongoing to maintain the footpath and to make it safer for the community.

We would like members of public to report any suspicious activity or criminal offences via 101 or 999 if deemed an emergency. You can also report via our website.
