Missing persons

We are working with our partner agencies such as social services, health and education to help protect a small group of females who are being reported missing quite regularly. We have recently taken part in a multi-agency meeting where new accommodation has been found for one of the individuals, which will be more suited to their needs and provide a higher level of safeguarding for them.

  Work has continued with police supporting our partner agencies to ensure these females are looked after. Some positive changes to accommodation and support services have resulted in reduced missing periods and the risk to the females coming to harm has reduced.
