Two Bristol men have today been jailed indefinitely and will serve at least eight years in prison, following a series of rape offences against two women.

Avon and Somerset Police and The Royal West of England Academy (RWA) in Bristol are delighted to announce the first public showing of Andy Warhol's 'Rudy Vallee' portrait.

Peter Hicks has today (Thursday May 10) been jailed for life for murdering his wife in November last year with a recommendation that he serves a least 13 years.

Peter Hicks, 64, was given a life sentence at Bristol Crown Court today (Thursday May 10) with a recommendation that he serves at least 13 years. At an earlier appearance he pleaded guilty to the murder of his wife, Marlene.
