Witness appeal following fail to stop collision in Keynsham

We’re appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision in Keynsham last night.

The incident happened at about 6.30pm when a car was in collision with a pedestrian, who was walking in the direction of Charlton Road from Charlton Park.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A car – believed to have been involved in the incident – was later found burned out in a field near Kelston.

Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
