Man appears in court after Wellington assault

A 43-year-old man appeared at Taunton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 June after an incident in Wellington in which a man sustained a crossbow bolt injury.

Anthony Northover, of Wardleworth Way, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Taunton Crown Court on Friday 11 July.
