Man charged after religiously-aggravated incident in Bristol
A 59-year-old man has been charged following a religiously-aggravated incident in Bristol on Saturday (7 March).
Benjamin Gray, of Eastville, will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 9 March).
He has been charged with:
- Assault by beating
- Use threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress
- Religiously-aggravated intentional harassment / alarm / distress
The charges follow an incident in which members of the public were abused and a woman was assaulted in Cheltenham Road.
