CCTV appeal following assault in Bristol

We are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Bristol.

Two people, a man and a woman, were assaulted during an incident in Stokes Croft between 3.50-4.05am on Friday 14 August.

They were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be serious and have since been discharged to continue their recovery at home.

We have carried out a number of enquiries, including a trawl of CCTV and intelligence checks, and have now reached the stage where we are appealing to the public to assist with our enquiries.

We would like to identify the man, pictured, because we believe he may have information which could assist our enquiries.

The man in the image is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old, who is wearing a black jacket and a flat cap.
