Man appears in court on conspiracy to commit burglary charge
A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.
Harley Sheppard, of Broad Croft in Patchway, appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday 27 August).
The charge relates to eight reported burglaries, including at properties in Clevedon, Nailsworth, Downend, Dursley, Yate, and Almondsbury between 6 April and 24 August.
The incidents have been investigated as part of an ongoing forcewide operation to tackle car-key burglaries.
Sheppard was remanded into custody and will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on Monday 28 September.
