Men charged in investigation into car key burglaries
Two men have been charged with offences linked to an investigation into car key burglaries.
Jack Hicks, 20, of Honeysuckle Road, Emersons Green, has been charged with two counts of burglary and attempted burglary and appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday 5 August).
Hicks, who was arrested on Tuesday (4 August), has also been charged with handling stolen goods, two counts of the theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a class B drug, and other motoring offences.
The charges relate to incidents in Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset and Bristol between April and August this year.
Lee Lauder, 21, of Paxton Drive, Ashton, was arrested on Monday (3 August) and has since been charged with dwelling burglary in relation to an incident Midsomer Norton on 4 June and driving while disqualified and without insurance from an incident on June 5.
He has been remanded to appear at the Bristol Crown Court on Monday 7 September.
