Witness appeal after child assaulted in Bristol

We are appealing for witnesses and anybody with information after a child was assaulted in Bristol.

The boy, in his early teens, was using an e-scooter when he was involved in a collision with a woman at low speed on Emersons Green Lane, near the junction with Guest Avenue.

Following the collision an unknown male assaulted the child causing minor injuries at around 12.35pm on Friday 14 August.

The boy was taken to hospital as a precaution but did not require treatment. The woman was also unharmed.

The suspect has been described as a white man, in his mid-thirties, with brown curly shoulder length hair, who was wearing a dark baseball cap, a navy-blue T-shirt, khaki shorts, sunglasses and orange shoes,

A number of high-visibility patrols were conducted in the area following the incident and several enquiries have been carried out.

We are appealing to witnesses and anybody with information on the identity of the suspect to contact us.
