Witness appeal after collision on A37
We are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was injured in a collision on the A37 earlier this week.
The rider of the Honda NT1100, a man in sixties, was involved in a collision with a white flatbed lorry near Lydford-on-Fosse, Somerton, between 3.50pm-4pm on Monday 10 August.
The motorcyclist was heading northbound towards Shepton Mallet when the collision occurred, resulting in facial injuries and a fractured wrist. He has since been discharged from hospital to continue his recovery at home.
The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and spoke with the rider but subsequently left the scene before details were exchanged.
We are appealing for the driver of the lorry and any witnesses to the incident, as well as those with any relevant dashcam footage of the collision, to come forward to assist with our enquiries.
