Can you help with our enquiries?

A motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a tractor near Chipping Sodbury.

The collision took place at about 5.10pm on Friday 7 August in Dodington.

We believe the motorbike was being ridden along Doddington Lane, from the Claypit Hill junction, and there was collision with a tractor exiting a turning.

A man, in his sixties, riding a white Lexmoto motorbike was taken to hospital with significant injuries where, sadly, he died on Thursday 13 August. His family are being supported by a specially-trained officer and our thoughts are with them.

The tractor driver remained at the scene and assisted officers with their enquiries.

We are keen to hear from any witnesses, or other motorists who were in the area and may have relevant dashcam footage, by contacting us online or on 101.

If you can help, complete our online appeals form or call 101 and give the call handler the following reference number 5226222213.
