Witness appeal after suspected arson incident in Norton Fitzwarren

We are appealing for witnesses following a fire in North Fitzwarren this afternoon (Friday 21 August).

A large field fire was reported to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service at about 2pm at Pen Elm Hill.

Emergency services remain at the scene and there have been no reported injuries.

At this early stage, pending further enquiries, we are treating this incident as suspicious.
