Witness appeal following fatal collision in Bridgwater

We are appealing for witnesses and anybody with information relating to a fatal collision in Bridgwater this morning (Monday 17 August).

We were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a Mercedes Sprinter van in Barhams Close at around 6.30am.

The pedestrian, a man in his fifties, sadly died at the scene.

His family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers while enquiries continue.

Any witnesses, those with information, or anybody with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage at around the time of the incident are urged to contact us on 101.
