Appeal to find owners of jewellery believed to be stolen

We are releasing several images of pieces of jewellery which are suspected to be stolen in order to try and reunite them with their owners.

We are appealing to members of the public to come forward after several items of jewellery were recovered from a garden in South Gloucestershire.

A member of the public reported finding several items of jewellery under a tree in his neighbour’s garden off Footshill Road, Kingswood, at around 9am on Saturday 12 September.

We are now releasing several images of the items which are suspected stolen in order to try and reunite them with their owners.

The items we have include:

Various hairpins.
Several necklaces with red gems and white pearls.
Large pendants.
A gold bracelet.
A red and gold egg-shaped item.

Anybody who believes the items belong to them are asked to call 101 quoting 5226264257.

We would require some proof of ownership before handing over any of the items, for example, a receipt or a photograph of a person wearing one of the specific pieces of jewellery.
