CCTV appeal following assault at shop

We are now at the stage where we are releasing images of two people we would like to speak to because we believe they may have information which could assist our enquiries.

We are releasing images of two people we would like to speak to in relation to an incident at a shop in Yeovil.

Enquiries continue after an unknown man and woman entered a shop which sells mobile phone accessories, in Middle Street, before a staff member was assaulted and damage was caused to a security camera.

The victim, a male in his mid-twenties, was not injured during the incident which happened at around 4.15pm on Saturday 11 April.

We have maintained contact with him while the investigation continues and we have made several enquiries, including a trawl of CCTV and intelligence checks have also been conducted.

We are now at the stage where we are releasing images of two people we would like to speak to because we believe they may have information which could assist our enquiries.

The first person, pictured, is described as a white male, between the ages of 28-30, of slim build, who is around 6ft tall, with short dark hair, who is wearing glasses, a black coat, a grey top, jeans, worker-style boots, and a chunky silver chain.

The second person, pictured, is described as a white female, between 20 and 25 years old, of slim build, with long dark hair, who is wearing a black hooded top and black trousers.

Any witnesses and those with information which could assist our enquiries are asked to come forward.
