Dashcam appeal following fatal collision

We are appealing for dashcam footage following a fatal collision near Long Ashton.

We were called at around 6.30pm on Monday 21 September to A370 Long Ashton Bypass at its junction with Gurney Roundabout and Colliters Way following a single-vehicle collision.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition, but sadly died on Tuesday (22 September) from their injuries.

Our thoughts are with their family during this incredibly difficult time and a specialist liaison officer will be offering them support.

The road was closed while emergency services attended and reopened at around 11.40pm.

We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, or have any dashcam, phone or CCTV footage which could aid our enquiries.
