CCTV appeal after assault at pub

We are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to in relation to an assault at a pub in Glastonbury earlier this month.

A staff member at the George and Pilgrim, in High Street, was assaulted by an unknown offender at 9.40pm on Friday 2 October.

The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment, but we have maintained contact with them while enquiries continue.

We have taken a statement from the victim, continue to engage with local businesses and carry our patrols in the area, and have carried out CCTV and intelligence enquiries.

We are now at the stage where we are releasing an image of a man we would like to speak to because we believe he may have information which could assist our investigation.

The man, pictured, is described as white, in his late thirties or early forties, with short dark hair and is of average build.

Any witnesses to the incident or those with information surrounding the identity of the man in the image are asked to call us on 101 quoting reference number 5226282887 or complete our online appeals form.
