Witness appeal after collision in Knowle

We are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle collision in Bristol.

Emergency services were called to Knowle at about 6.45pm on Sunday 25 October.

The incident involved a green motorbike that was being ridden down Leinster Avenue and a silver Volkswagen car that was emerging from Connaught Road.

A man and a woman, who were onboard the motorbike, sustained serious injuries, that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Two occupants of the car sustained minor injuries and also received medical attention in hospital.

A 37-year-old man, who is believed to have been the car driver, was arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs, He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
