Witness appeal following collision on A38
We are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving two vehicles on the A38 in North Somerset this morning (Tuesday 20 October)
The collision happened on the A38 at Redhill, near Bristol Airport, at around 4.50am.
A driver had earlier failed to stop for officers in the Langford area, leading to a pursuit.
A Honda CRV travelled the wrong way around a roundabout and collided with another vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, belonging to a member of the public.
The occupants of the Volkswagen were taken to hospital as a precaution, but they have now all been discharged. We will offer them any support services they may benefit from.
The occupants of the Honda made off on foot and despite a search of the area, they were not found.
The vehicle has been seized and enquiries continue.
