The Clifton Beat Team is continuing to work on a number of tactics aimed at deterring vehicle crime and reducing reports of vehicle break-ins across the area. This includes conducting targeted patrols in locations where incidents are reported more frequently, providing crime prevention advice to residents and visitors, and engaging with local communities to raise awareness of simple measures that can help reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
Officers are encouraging motorists to remove valuables from vehicles, ensure doors and windows are secured, and report any suspicious behaviour. Through a combination of high-visibility patrols, preventative advice, and focused activity in identified hotspot areas, the team aims to reduce opportunities for offenders and keep our communities safe.
