Drug Related Activity Ashgrove Cemetery

Police and the local Parish Council has received information that drug dealing and use is taking place in around the Ashgrove Cemetery Peasedown St John.

    No drug related activity reported in recent weeks, also no indication that drugs are still being used in the cemetery. Patrols will continue for the foreseeable future.

    Drug related activity around the cemetery appears to have stopped, however patrols will continue to deter any potential future problems.

  • 21 January 2024

    No signs of drug taking in Ashgrove Cemetery over the past month, however we are concerned that the footpath that runs alongside might be used as an area for drug dealing.  We are asking the public to report any suspicious activity to the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, you can report online by clicking the link below.

  • 10 December 2023

    Patrols are continuing, no further reports of drug dealing, and no indication that the area is still being used for drug use. Neighbourhood Officers will continue to keep a close watch on the Cemetery and surrounding area.

  • 15 November 2023

    Neighbourhood Officer have seized a small amount of Class B drugs after carrying out a search of a suspicious vehicle that was parked at the entrance of the cemetery on Sunday 12th November. Officers will continue to carry out regular patrols of the Ashgrove area.

  • 10 November 2023

    Neighbourhood officers are carrying out regular patrols of the area this has resulted in two youths being dealt with for possession of a Class B substance.
