Anti-social behaviour Castle Cary

Avon and Somerset Police are aware of a recent spike in ASB, mainly involving youths in the Castle Cary area. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and positive action will be taken.

Over the last month, Police have been made aware of a spike in ASB, usually involving teens banging on doors and running away. We are also aware that youths are throwing items at people’s windows. This has also included ASB driving in the area as well.

We are taking actions to counter this such as high visibility patrols in the problem areas, collecting evidence and data from victims, communicating with local schools, educational programmes and engaging with young people when out and about in Castle Cary.

We encourage the public to report any incidents or evidence of ASB to us by dialling 101 or reporting online at Report anti-social behaviour | Avon and Somerset Police.
