Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a work experience programme. However, we will be reviewing our early careers entry routes in early 2024.

Interested in a career in policing?

If you are interested in a career in policing, you can:

• join our Police Cadets Scheme (if you are aged between 13-17), or volunteer to become a Cadet Leader
• explore the different types of Uniformed and Police Staff jobs available with Avon and Somerset Police
• learn more about Emergency and Uniform Services jobs on the National Careers Service website
• apply for our Ride Along Scheme (if you are over-18) where you can observe officers or staff on a shift
