Anti Social Behaviour in Frome area
Over the last few months, we have received reports of anti-social behaviour in the Frome area. We understand the impact this can have on local residents and businesses and are working with partner agencies to address the issues identified. We would encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour to report it to the police, as information from the community helps us identify those responsible and target our patrols effectively. Together, we can help keep Frome a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Over the weekend, neighbourhood police officers engaged with and disrupted individuals involved in anti-social behaviour in the town centre. This helped address concerns at an early stage and prevented the escalation of public disorder and other offending behaviours.
Reports received help to inform our patrol activity and ensure resources are deployed where they are most needed. We encourage anyone affected by anti-social behaviour to report incidents to the police via 999 in an emergency or 101 for non-emergency matters. The local neighbourhood policing team can also be contacted by email to discuss community concerns. -

Police Community Support Officers and Neighbourhood Constables have been operating from the Police Post throughout the Bank Holiday weekend to improve response times to anti-social behaviour (ASB) incidents and increase visibility and accessibility for members of the public.
Reports received help to inform where we patrol. From the Police Post, officers have carried out patrols in the town centre, with particular attention given to the disused Saxonvale site and Château Gontier Way, where the highest number of ASB reports have been received.
