Three in court after firearm discharged in South Bristol

Three people have been charged after a firearm was discharged in South Bristol earlier this week.
Both Reanne Davis, aged 33, and Anthony York, aged 41, both of Faber Grove, Hartcliffe, were charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
York was additionally charged with violent disorder and criminal damage.
Ryan Davies, aged 19 from Pavey Road, Hartcliffe, was charged with assault by causing actual bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
All three are due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 7 August) and have been remanded into custody until the hearing.
Three other people remain in police custody while enquiries into the incident in Pavey Road, Hartcliffe, on Wednesday 5 August continue.
An investigation was launched after a firearm being discharged at around 1pm. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident but we recognise this is an incredibly concerning incident to people living in the area.
Officers from our Neighbourhood Policing Team remain in the area conducting high-visibility reassurance patrols and we encourage anyone with concerns to speak with them.
