The Special Constabulary is a vital resource when it comes to tackling crime. Special Constables have an important role to play;
they provide valuable support to regular police officers and increase the police presence within our communities.
We are currently closed for recruitment into the Special Constabulary. This closure will remain in place until some time during 2012.
